Ligia finds most brides like a natural look, they tend to go more neutral in color and she chooses colors that are soft and subtle. Most of her brides want flawless skin which believes perfection is all in the skin preparation; cleansing & moisturizing the skin. She prefers to airbrush foundation and subtle facial contouring. No SPF foundation is important for photography and videos. She does layer the foundation, but in such a way to achieve a natural look. She uses many brands of foundation such as Mac, but her overall favorite makeup is by Makeup Forever.
She tends to use peach pink lipstick to create a natural look, subtle lip liner and shear gloss. Colors vary based on clients skin tone - her favorite brand of lipstick is Yves St Laurent.
She has used "baking" as a contour layering technique, but this is for a more dramatic look. Baking is allowing powder to stay on the face, literally bakes in, and then blended with a brush. Ligia looks at the brides features and play's out their best feature! Lining eyes is important, she uses black to brown liner depending on skin tone. She is an artists that specializes in all skin tones.
As an MUA, her niche is working with brides & bridal parties. Ligia finds that mother-of-the-bride's tend to also like a natural look and they are not overly picky.
