I decided to share my Noelle Hair Growth Elixir Recipe of which I sold thousands ~ why? Because so many people have reached out to me who could not afford it. I urge you to research the oils you purchase for this recipe since there are many synthetic frauds on the market. Purchasing your oils from Whole Foods, Nature Food Stores & Young Living will help to ensure proper distillation, purity and testing.
Do not take working with essential oils lightly, they are very powerful and have amazing medicinal properties. This recipe was handed down to me from my Italian mother and tested on my vast hair loss clientele at Noelle Salon. This recipe works for hair thinning and hair loss due to alopecia, trichotillomania, menopause, medications, illness and surgeries. Please note: do not use oils straight you will need to mix with a carrier oil. So lets start.
Purchase a 1/4 ounce glass bottle in amber or blue (possibly other colors) which you can find online or in health food stores.
Word of caution: Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have a medical condition consult with your physician before using and always patch test 24 hours prior to application on the backside of your wrist.
For Topical Use Only, does not work on hair follicles that are not sprouting hair.
The largest amount of this recipe is the carrier oil which will dilute the essential oils. All listed are my favorites and have great humectant value which add moisture to the hair. I will list them in order of my favorites.
1) Argan Oil
2) Jojoba Oil
3) Coconut Oil or MCT Oil (high in protein)
4) Olive Oil or Grape Seed Oil
I suggest mixing the oils in small batches to be used 1 month at a time, these oils can turn rancid quickly and should be stored in a cool dry place. Noelle Hair Growth Elixir was contained in food packing in order to prevent spoilage, but glass bottles are easier to find and will help with measuring.
1) Fill your 1/4 ounce glass bottle half way with your chosen carrier oil
Using the dropper/pipette from the bottle add the following oils by the drop to the carrier oil.
1) 3 drops Rosemary Oil: A strong pungent oil with known hair growth properties. used for centuries.
2) 2 drops Clary Sage: Amazing to keep hair strong and healthy, will help to prevent hair shedding.
3) 2 drops Ylang Ylang has antibacterial factors for oily hair and itchy scalp.
4) 2 drops Frankincense oil contains small amounts of Vitamin E which replenishes moisture to the hair follicle as well as unclogs debris from hair follicles.
5) 2 drops Carrot Seed Oil works particularly well on post menopausal women and aging hair because it helps to slow hair shedding.
Shake well to ensure all oils are mixed.
I prefer to use this massage oil on washed hair - this will help to open the hair follicles which ensures the recipes absorbs into the scalp and is void of dirt. Towel dry your hair approximately 75%.
Based on your hair volume add 5 to 10 drops to the palm of clean hands, you can add more for thick hair. Now run the excess down the hair shaft to the ends of your hair. This magical mixture will repair damaged hair.
KEY KEY KEY
One of the most important elements of this recipe is to massage the oils into your scalp for 5 to 10 minutes! Move your scalp to loosen, use the pads of your finger tips in several motions. Watch video for self scalp massage instruction:
Leave this mixture in your hair overnight or for several hours. I do not recommend wearing this in the sun since it can lead to hair lightening.
The next day or hours later, wash your hair twice and conditioner is optional.
For best results, use twice weekly ~ within a few months you should experience new hair growth! If you have any questions feel free to comment on this blog! Noelle
