New Hair Extension Colors - A Game Changer

New Hair Extension Colors - A Game Changer

Believe it or not, there are a handful of hair extension colors that are quite popular!  Solid shades tend to be the best sellers, second is two-tone piano shades, third is balayage shades, but there are colors that are difficult to match; those being subtle hues, color variations, and tones for natural hair.  These tones tend to live in the blonde shade category, and at Veila Pull-Thru Hair Virgin Extensions, we created the "Reversible" hair color which is very similar in shade.  One side is slightly darker/lighter than the other and can be applied as such.

Our new hair colors are made of virgin hair and when brushed through the color is very natural.  As natural shades become popular, the reversible shades fill the void in the hair extension industry.  Piano aka two-tone shades tends to appear stripy in the hair and work best on high contrasting hair colors.  The reversible shades are perfect for subtle balayage mixed tones or Sombre (subtle ombre) hair color.

Veila recently launched two color patterns;

1) Dark Blonde Combination for natural ash-based hair color.  Chose the darker side for darker hair or lighter for lighter hair.  The Color is on the website coded R6/18.

2). Light Ash Blonde combination works best on natural blonde hair or subtly foiled or balayage hair color. The darker side is for a darker shade and lighter can be applied to brighter shades.

3). Mix and match the sides of the hair extensions for an even more color blending perfection.  For example; use the dark side of the hair extensions in the back of the head and lighter on the crown and sides for a punch of brightness.

The Veila Hair Extensions are now offered in 100-gram packs which contain ten pieces of 3.75"width x 22" length extensions.  Most hair extensions clients require 100 grams of hair to create volume and length, unused hair can be stored away for a later date or used on another customer.  It is a good idea to stock some extensions to show clients during a consultation or to use in a pinch.

Other Changes

We no longer carry two sizes of hair extensions because this can be achieved by custom cutting the extensions to suit your individual hair needs based on hair density and volume.  Veila hair extensions can be cut as little as one inch in width and still maintain the integrity of the attachment.

As our product evolved, we decided to use stronger materials that are thinner and lay flat against the head.  We offer in-person or online (Zoom) training.  Training is important because there are many tips and tricks that will allow for a better hair extension experience!

Our raw material (hair quality) is made of virgin, one-donor, hair which creates vibrant hues, color consistency, and durable hair.  With proper care, most of our clientele wear reuse our hair extensions for up to one year, attending our training is helpful for advice on the longevity of our hair.

Very Important

Veila Pull-Thru hair extensions are a boutique brand and our customer service is above the rest.  While selling the hair extensions, I noticed that some had issues with the attachment area which is made of durable polyurethane, the damage was caused by flat ironing either too close to the attachment or not allowing flat ironed hair above the hair attachment to cool before dropping.  As with "all" hair extension methods, careful thermal heat styling is key.

Never bleach the hair extensions and do not color the attachment area.  It is better to match the hair extensions versus dying or bleaching to match the hair.

You May Have Seen

There are brands on the market that are selling 16" width pull-thru style hair extensions (similar width to hand-tied hair), this is far too wide of section and will pull on the hair.  Hair follicle density varies through the head and this method will lead to traction alopecia, as well as being far too bulky to hide in the hair.

Who is a candidate for Veila?

Mostly everyone is a candidate for our hair extension method, we use them on people with extra fine hair, hair loss, to thick hair.  Our method does not require glue, tape, or sewing, therefore, your hair will grow well while wearing them.  The quality is superior to other brands and the hair is thick from roots to ends.

If you have been discouraged by other methods of hair extensions and their difficult removal process, then Veila is for you!

As we are all watching our budgets these days, the Veila brand is the best option because they are reusable, durable, and do not require removal solutions or cutting threads to remove.
