I am excited to announce that I am the featured Hometown Hero for Boost with Facebook Cambridge. The Boost with Facebook program aims to help small businesses reach their audiences and recover from disruptions brought on by COVID-19.

I was approached by Paige of Facebook of  California, she oversees small business marketing and is wonderfully talented.  Paige found me on the Facebook "Leaders Network" a group of small business people that help each other in all facets of business particularly during Covid-19.  Paige interviewed me for over an hour and we discussed the passion that drove me to open my hair salon and launch my own brand of hair extensions.  We delve deep about my working with client's with hair loss such as Trichotillomania a hair pulling disorder.  We also discussed the personal service industry closure during Covid-19 and how Facebook and Instagram helped to stay connected with customers during Covid.  I told Paige that I love Instagram tools such as Reels & Stories!  We then discussed the launching of Veila Hair Extensions a brand created to help stylists work efficiently, not damage client's hair and offer superior quality hair.  Pivoting to a brand of hair extensions was tops on my lists because I would never want to face another closure for any reason.  I will be speaking about starting a small business specializing in hair extensions and being featured on news programs from 1997 to present.
