The US Sun Calls Out Visible Hair Extensions
An article posted on July 7, 2023, in the US Sun features Kelly Slate from Baltimore, on holiday, with her weave blowing in the wind, guess what -- you could see her hair extensions! In response to this article, I would first suggest that if she wore her hair in a ponytail, bun, or braids, the extensions would not be as obvious! It is nearly impossible to be out on a yacht, and not see you are wearing extensions. This issue does not seem to stop people from wearing hair extensions, but let's face it, they are not growing from your head. Celebs are still wearing hair extensions and many wear wigs. Hair extensions are attached to your own hair, some are attached individually, and in the photo below;
Most types of hair extensions are impossible to hide, and if this is of concern, then do not wear them, or my professional advice is to wear invisible extensions by Combline. Albeit invisible extensions do not add as much hair as a sew-in weave, they do add more hair, and they are difficult to see.

Kelly thinks her hair looks like a mullet, in the wind it certainly does. Hair extensions are heavier than natural hair, and they do not react in the same way. The invisible technique allows us to add hair at the top of the head, and blend seamlessly into your own hair. In fact, we use the Combline technique for hair loss clients, we have attached extensions on the hairline. The technique allows us to attach one strand of hair to literally one strand of our customers' hair. The color adhesive matches our clients' natural hair and is truly undetectable.

Wearing hair extensions is a personal choice, but choosing the proper technique to suit your lifestyle is paramount. If you are yachting, wearing your hair down, and do not want to see them, then invisible extensions or no hair extensions are your best option.
I think the article is enlightening, but it paints a picture that all hair extensions are bad, but they do require some effort to hide them. A ponytail may be the better option!
