In need of tightening in between services - book this appt. This is an in-between visit that adjusts areas of hair topper loosening. We do not use glue, tape, or sewing. This appointment is generally free and will vary based on hair growth. Extensive tightening during this appointment will have a fee associated.

Noelle Salon has been working with hair toppers for hair loss for nearly 20 years, over the years I have created the perfect hair topper design. Our hair toppers are affixed with a microbead matrix that does not require gluing or sewing. Gluing and sewing lead to tension on already compromised hair. Many hair toppers are glued onto hair or the remaining hair is shaven and glued directly on the scalp. Why would any women want to shave their hair or glue a hair topper to their scalp? The goal is that you can recover from hair loss and preserve your remaining hair. Additionally, there may be new advancements in medications and treatments for hair loss, therefore keeping your hair healthy is paramount.
Our hair topper base is made of a fine mesh that allows the scalp to breathe, there is no bulky PU (polyurethane), and therefore the hair topper lays flat. The micro-mesh allows for water to gently seep into the scalp when washing.
The hair toppers are made of virgin (one-donor) hair, which is very durable. The texture has a subtle wave and is meant to blend seamlessly into one's natural hair. A hair topper is not a wig and the size should cover the circumference of the top of the head. The material is pliable, it will naturally form on the scalp, and with every passing day, the hair toppers mold in place.
We are able to add clips if a client prefers to take the topper on and off. We rotate the flexible clips every few months to avoid tension from the clips staying in the same area of the hair.
Most clients' hair toppers last over one year with proper home care. The maintenance is simple; every 3 to 6 weeks the topper is removed washed and treated, our client's hair is washed and then the toppers are affixed. We welcome in-between visits for quick touch-ups.
It is recommended to not wash hair upside down since this will cause the topper to loosen from water tension. Sleeping with a silk scarf helps to prevent friction and will keep the hair topper in place. We recommend wearing a scarf when wearing a helmet of any kind, but most of our clients enjoy a very active lifestyle.
Our hair toppers come in a wide array of colors and are in stock for same-day service. We keep our prices affordable, but most insurance providers cover part or all of the cost. You will need a prescription from a physician explaining your hair loss condition, a paid receipt, and a description from us. It is essential to call your insurance provider to ask what is covered; the hair topper may be referred to as a scalp prosthesis or wig.
