Which Hair Extensions Do Not Damage Hair?

Veila Pull-Thru hair extensions do not damage hair, they were designed that way!  After years of working with hair extensions that cause damage to hair, the pull-thru design was created with both the client and stylists in mind.  Unlike brands that use glue, tape, or require sewing which causes damage, the pull-thru method uses none of the above.  They are affixed with a method that connects natural hair under an envelope of hair with micro links.  They are offered in a variety of sizes to cover all areas of the head.  Smaller sizes are applied to low to medium hair density areas of the head, while larger sizes are applied to high-density areas such as the occipital bone (mid head).

The brand evolved over 2 years while the research and development were tested at Noelle Salon, a popular Boston salon.  The clients that were experiencing damage and tension from other methods of extension such as tape, sew-in hair, and keratin were switched to the Veila brand and the results were astonishing!  The clients preferred the method and notice remarkable hair growth.  As the brand expanded in the salon, it was launched to other salon professionals.  It is hard to transition to an entirely new method of extensions, but the salons that did were thankful.

What makes them the least damaging is the removal process.  No solvents are necessary, the envelope is opened and the hair is easily removed! The removal process is quick saving stylists time as well as clients. Veila is a hybrid method that is likened to tape hair and hand-tied hair extensions without tension or messy removal.  Having to remove glue and tape is tedious and can even hurt.  Most importantly, the hair is made of high-quality virgin Remy human hair which stands the test of time.  The envelope attachments which range in width from 1.25" to 2.75" are very durable, it is likely that most can re-use the extensions for up to one year.

Veila hair was featured on BehindTheChair.com and Beauty Launchpad, noting that they are a brand that will not damage natural hair.  They quickly became a social media sensation with hundreds of salons posting their success stories on Instagram

I’ve had a fair amount of questions about extensions lately and how @veilahair is different.

This photo shows the main difference between my extensions and typical tape-ins.

They are held in place by beads (no tape, glue, or solvents) while still giving the coverage of a tape in.

The hair is re-usable for up to 8 months and they just need to be moved up every few weeks 🥰

They are made from the highest quality human hair available and are custom colored/cut for each individual client's needs.

They can be used for fullness alone or to add length as well. If you have any more questions about Veila Extensions just drop a comment and I will be happy to answer 💕

A common question I get asked is how much maintenance is required with extensions? With our @veilahair pull-thru beaded weft extensions you come in every 8 weeks for a bump up or reinstall depending on how long the hair has been installed. The hair will last 1 year if cared for properly.

The common vane of the posts is they do not damage their client's hair, this is what they were designed for.  The goal is to give the optimal amount of hair to achieve today's glamorous look.  A little goes a long way, a few pieces will add volume to existing hair.

Mission Statement

No damage equates to happy customers and hair salons.  Of course, the hair must be properly maintained at home, as well as visiting the salon on a timely basis for move-ups. Our mission is to help improve the hair extension industry, and our brand is always evolving.

Noelle Salon is approaching 25 years in business, our goal is to educate clients and salons on the latest hair techniques, hair color, hair loss systems, and all services.  If we can help you in any way, whether you are a potential guest of our salon or hairstylist, please feel free to ask questions below or email noelle@noellesalon.com

Whether you are looking for a change of style or look for a day such as a Clip-in ponytail, having a high-quality ponytail extension can mix it up for you. Your natural hair journey with your hair growth can be enhanced with Hair extensions when protective styling is applied, and regular maintenance is used.
