Bellami Hair Extensions Compared to Veila Hair Extensions
I want to compare the top hair extension brand in the industry compared to our boutique brand, Bellami hair extensions vs. Veila hair extensions. In no way do we have the buying power or marketing budget like Bellami hair, but what we do have is superior hair, a lower price point, a design they do not supply, and one-on-one customer service. Below is a breakdown of each talking point.
1). Bellami Hair Extensions works with twelve Asian suppliers which allow for continuance stock, and they are purchasing hair at a lower rate than other suppliers due to their amazing buying power. Although they boast that their hair is of a virgin (one-donor) quality, this only applies to the lightest shades offered. Unlike Bellami, all of our shades (from dark to light) are made of virgin hair. Virgin hair is far more durable, supple, and does not have an intense coating of silicone.
Many suppliers believe that virgin hair is not necessary for darker shades because it is less processed, I beg to differ, darker shades require the same durability, luminosity, and varying tones that only virgin hair can offer. Additionally, virgin hair will last longer than what is known as "Remy hair"
Social Media Influencer "Marianne Matar" prefers our Veila Pull-Thru Hair Extensions in our new reversible colors. Her extensions were applied by Shanell Cedeno owner of Beautiful You Salon & Spa of San Diego, California
Our cuticles are in-tact and fully aligned on "all" color shades from dark, mixed, piano, balayage, reversible and solid.
2) Our price point is lower because we want to sell superior hair, and as a salon owner, I understand the balance between offering high-quality hair at an affordable price. Hair extensions are gaining in popularity every year, and as the demand grows it is important to offer the service in all salons. The issue is smaller salons in rural areas of the country do not have the same economy as the big cities, therefore, a lower price point makes hair extensions accessible to all in the beauty industry as well as their clients.
After doing a price comparison, our hair extension cost 50% less than Bellami hair and other competitors for the same, if not better quality. Prices were compared to the same color, weight, and length. 50% is a huge saving that can be transferred to the client to make hair extensions attainable to all.
3) At Veila Hair we offer our exclusive pull-thru design as well as the Genius weft for sew-in bead application. The pull-thru design is far more costly to manufacture since there are several factors in their creation; woven polyurethane, hand punched holes, and hair application. Not to mention, the standard work such as dying, assembling, etc. The pull-thru design is not cost-effective for products to produce therefore, larger suppliers do not offer it. We stand by this design, which is applied without glue, tape, or sewing, and have perfected it over the past few years. The design not only lasts longer in the client's hair but will last longer over time. If you are seeking a method that is gentle on the hair and easy to remove & reapply then the pull-thru method is for you.
4) Customer service is what set's us apart, I know every customer by name and most reach me on social media or by text. Therefore, if they are in need of an immediate order, have a question or problem, I am there. It is not unusual to answer questions in the middle of the night and on weekends, but if that is what it takes to keep our customers happy, then so be it! If I can relieve a salon owner/stylist's stress then I know their clients will benefit. As I said, I have been a salon owner for over 25 years and I understand the stress of not receiving orders on time, wrong colors, and price hikes.
My goal is to reach every salon that needs quality hair extensions at a price they can afford, without headaches. Moreover, in order to be a hair extension salon successful, we must keep our client's hair healthy, if not, they will move on to another salon or not wear hair extensions at all. The Veila pull-thru design is fully customizable and the attachment can be cut down to a width of one inch without destroying its integrity. The hair extensions can also be used in the 3.75" width for most people with normal to thick hair.
Customer Service
Veila Hair Extensions (Pull-Thru) is backed by a gold standard of customer service.
